Our purpose is to help you achieve total fitness in all areas of your life. By that we don’t just mean diet and exercise, although that is a part of it. We will cover key areas in our lives that we need to strengthen as much as possible. These include solidifying your financial and vocational stability, sparking your creativity and spiritual life and assisting you as you grow in your ability to control your emotional, psychological and physical health. What a great way to end the year! Amy Oliver shares her story with us as we close out the year. Amy is the founder of Connect & Cre8 and Art in Recovery. She teaches art therapy classes at Coweta Force every month as well at other venues. Amy brings her creativity to recovery by providing activities for those in recovery and their families. Between sharing a meal and creating a project together families get to bond without some of the external stresses they may be experiencing. To be honest we did not get to talk about Connect & Cre8 this time as so often happens so Amy will be back on. As she shared her story of recovery through Christ she shares the greatest hope and the path to truly turning your life around.

For our premiere episode we gathered several participants from our local Her Journey groups to share their experiences and how the program adds value to the lives of the ladies who participate.
Her Journey is a 15-week faith-based, non-denominational class (loosely based on Psalm 23) designed to meet weekly and assist women in healing from current or past abusive or controlling relationships.
Topics include:
THROUGH THE VALLEY
In the first five classes, the effects abuse, denial, boundaries, anger, perfectionism and the need for affection are addressed.
PAST THE SHADOWS
The next five classes focus on issues like depression, renewing the mind, submission vs oppression, loneliness, understanding limits and the importance of where to focus our attention.
INTO HIS LIGHT
In the final classes, topics include choices, self-esteem and finding purpose. Discover what love looks like and how to live victoriously!
Classes are free to attendees (paid for by donations & grants). They are appropriate for women ages 14 and up. You may begin at any time and continue as often as needed.
You can attend local groups in person or online through Zoom Groups.
