This week we talk with Michelle Barr Thompson, the owner of Uniforms for America in Peachtree City and Fayetteville. Michelle is a Christian business woman that gives back to her community in many ways. Michelle shares that as she grew up in a home with a father who was in the military and was a chaplain she saw the poverty in many areas of the world and she saw her parents ministering to others as much as they could to 'lighten' their load. She has carried this over to her adult life participating in community and church outreach areas as much as possible. She participates in the walks and runs her company makes shirts for and she contributes to school. community and mission projects. Her heart is with supporting and uplifting the nurses in local hospitals and doctor offices. On May 7th she is hosting a festival for the nurses where they can get free tshirts made especially for Nurse Appreciation week, enter to win prizes and get great discounts!
Michelle's advice for other women is this:
Just take a moment and listen to those around you. You have no idea what they are struggling through and how mush a simple conversation may mean to them. And 2nd - women please go get your mammograms on a regular basis! It is very important that you stay on top of your medical care.

Todays episode features Tasha Johnson who is running for Clerk of Coweta Superior Court. We asked her to come in not to make a political statement but to share how God works in the lives of those who follow Him. We need to support our Christian brothers and sisters in their journeys and share their stories with others so that we all can see more evidence of God working in the lives of others. It was a pleasure finding out more about Tasha as one who is committed to the public service of others.

In this episode we talk with Michelle Mashburn, a local author who wrote of her and her husbands COVID story in 'Conquering COVID with Christ'. Michelle's husband, Terry, was a healthy person with no underlying health issues but the unpredictability of COVID landed him in the hospital with stays in ICU, LSTAT and rehab. After 35 years of marriage the couple found themselves in the height of COVID when no one could visit their families. Michelle was testing positive and was isolated at home. She became a prayer warrior for her husband. She mobilized her family, friends and Facebook world into specific prayer for Terry. A year after their battle Michelle has written a short account of this journey that most definitely shows how powerful our God is and how to hang onto your faith in the face of trials.
